Adding the new index in the database

Dear All,

I am using sap ecc5 and oracle 9i and windows 2003.

I have created one index in the sap from SE11. But I am facing am problem in the Display Index which I have created there is any

warring Index does not exist in database system ORACLE.

Please suggest the steps how can I add the new index in the database.

from SE11, click on the INDEXES button, double-click on the index and activate it.

you can do it also from SE14.

Dear All,

Babu As you did you active in db that i dont know can you tell me the step how to do that.

Eric in SE11 if i give the table name than it say active but the error.please sugggest how to create the index in database,do i have to create by BRtools.

Thanks all I have added the index in database by following steps.

Enter the name of a table in Transaction SE11 and select Display.

2. Select Utilities u2192 Database Utility

3. In the following screen select the primary index, then select Choose.

4. Select Create Database Index.

Did you activated them in the DB?
