SAP gurus if i don't want to copy the plant data then how can i maintain that data manually

from implementation point of view

Hi sandeep

First of all your question is not clear but as per my understanding if you don't copy the plant then it wont copy the G/L accounts and other material related data and basic plant parameters wont get copied .So when you try to assign in the sales order then also it wont work . So you need to copy the plant

Franckly speaking, I couldn't get your query.

Are you asking, what are all important transactions, need to be maintained in IMG-settings, related to Plant?

If so, few of them are:

OX10 Create Plant

OX18 Plant is assigned to Company Code

OVX6 Plants->Sales Org/ D. channel: Overview

OVXC assigned shipping point to plant

OVL2 assigned shipping point for the combination of Shipping Conditions, Loading Group and Plant

OMJ7 assign Business Area to Plant / Valuation Area and Division

In Enterprise structure> definition> Define plant using new entries.

Later you assign the plant to company code.

After this there are many dependant entries which you need to take care of...like setting plant parameters, excise related settings,

Define Plant: New entries. Maintain the Plant and edit address and maintain the required entries
