Problem with SLD/WD Content Admin

Hi All,

I am facing a peculiar problem.

Actually I was working on a client number 100 of the R.3 machine. Due to some reasons the R/3 client is changed to 200.I created the SLD for the new Abap system by putting an entry to the in Server setting Page of SLD and then stop and started the Data Supplier Bridge. Then went to the R/3 system and run the RZ70 tramsaction.

Now I found a new entry for the new ABAP system for the new client 200. Then when I went to the Webdynpro content admin and edited wd_rfc_metadata and wd_modeldata to the new client number and then new R/3 system name , sap logon groups and submitted it.

when I tested the metadata and modeldata I am getting the following error :-

com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (102) RFC_ERROR_COMMUNICATION: Connect to message server host failed Connect_PM TYPE=B MSHOST=snadc01 GROUP=Central Test R3NAME=DV1 MSSERV=sapmsDV1 PCS=1 LOCATION CPIC (TCP/IP) on local host with Unicode ERROR service '?' unknown TIME Fri Feb 24 12:15:44 2006 RELEASE 640 COMPONENT NI (network interface) VERSION 37 RC -3 COUNTER 1

I also tried putting an entry to the services file with the new R/3 system host. No luck.

Can anyone encountered this problem before.

HI Narayan ,

have u given the serverice for message server also in the service file.

<u>Service for Message Server</u>

sapms<System ID> 3600/tcp ?

(Message server port is 3600 + <Instance Number>)

(her assumed ur Instace Number is 00 , yats why i put 3600)

<u>Service For gateway</u>

sapgw<Instance Number> 3300/tcp

(Gateway service port is 3300 + <Instance Number> , here assumed it is 00).

I think here the System ID is DV1

so u have to add this also ,

sapmsDV1 3600/tcp
