no message type on XI server

Hi All,I am sending idoc from R/3 to XI,my message type is customize..thats why that message type is not available on XI server...how could i add or there is any other way to receive idoc successfully..plz reply...

wat dou mean by message type customized.

does it mean ur IDOC is not std one and u have enhanced the std IDOC.

if yes then u can import that customized IDOC in IR imported archive and use the IDOC sturcture.

hi,

IDOC structure contain MESSAGE TYPE ,which was created while genereting the idoc .

u just import the idoc in ur IR. no need to create any MT.

No need to create the MT.

directly go to MM and use the imported IDOc strucutre and do the mapping.

Hi Monica,

Either you are dealing with customized IDOC or simple IDOC you have to follow these steps .

1Import the IDOC it the XI repository.

2. wherever you need the message type and messageinterface there you use the imported idoc i.e in message mapping and in interface mapping use IDOC instead message type and message interface.

in ID if it is outbound idoc then no need of creating sender agreement here also wherever sender message interface is needed use idoc name only.

hi ,

for customize IDOC u need to import the IDOC st in ur IR at imported archive .and use this same message type in mapping...

in sender idoc no sender comm channel is required..
