BACK UP DB13 ONLINE ERROR

Hello friends,

i have a prblem whenever i take an online back up.

these are the errors:

helo friends,

i have to restore and check the back up tapes wether iam taking correctly or not from DB13 .

how to do this task in a new server .

Hi,

please restore you backup using copy and paste into their appropriate directories.

and do the following,

C:\>brtools

Then continue two times and your database will be recovered.

Hi,

Pl. log in through <SID>adm user and run the below command through command prompt to initialize tape .

brbackup -i force -n 1 -v SCRATCH

then start backup through db13.

If still you are facing same prob , then check your tape drive , your tape or tape drvice can be faulty or cleaning is req.
