SMSY user creation issue

Hi All ,

I create DEV/QLT/PRD systems with assistance in SMSY. Only in DEV i found 2 users create for communication with Solman.

1. for Back RFC---SOLMANsol150

2. for Trusted RFC--SOLTMWsol150

In rest QLT n PRD only one user created i.e. for back RFC named: solmansol150

however system communicate properly when i click on Read System Data Remote inside smsy for any satellite server.

Is any confiuration missing thats why SOLTMWSOL150 user not created in QLT n PRD. Please suggest.

Hello Andrew,

Please create/add systems in SMSY tcode using "create new system with assistant"

this will guide you to a menu driven procedure with check boxes.

using this all 4 Rfc's gets created automatically.

SM_SIDCLNT910_READ

SM_SIDCLNT910_TMW

SM_SIDCLNT910_TRUSTED

SM_SIDCLNT910_TRUSTED

Revert back if problem is still there.

Hi Amber,

I did in same way for all three servers but in only dev i found two user created for backward communication .

In QLT and PRD. only one user created.

Is it right config or something missing.

HI

IN smsy we always select the option user existing user and password to create rfc connection.

create a identical user in the target and solman system with the following roles.

1)s_rfcacl

2)s_rfc

3)sap_all (optional) if your environment allows to make use of this profile.

use this user in smsy to create rfc connection between system.This is also good in future rfc administration.

Exactly adding to Vijay's reply create a "communication user"

for example zzcpic and create this user in satellite system as well as solman system.

that will be helpful.

Thanks for kind response , i did that but creating system with assistance only create one user in satellite server (quility n production). however in same way its creating two user in development server.

Is any Roles missing on PRD server user.

Hi Andrew,

You can manually create a communication user with the necessary authorization and assign that user to the RFC (Back or TMW ).

By the way which user is getting created ? for TMW or Back RFC user

Please check also note "no authorisation for USER TMSADM" if you need it in your configuration.
