Lookup with out BPM

Hi Experts,

I had a scenario JDBC to IDOC.

I had to do the lookups for some of the data.

Is it necessary to use BPM to do lookups from XI to R/3 during mapping?Can we do lookups with out using BPM.Please suggest

Yes without BPM look is possible, use UDF for lookup.

HI

You can use Lookup without BPM. BPM is not mandatory.

Lookup you can create in message mapping. Its like a advance UDF.

In your scenario JDBC to IDOC. Where the Lookup data is maintained.
