service item long text in PO

I have to give service item long text in the smartform. please tell me how to ge.

Hi,

You have to ask your functional regarding those details.

You can also find these details in SE75 transaction. The text id and text objects will be seen over there in that transaction.

You should know Object name, then you double clik on that to get the text id's.

hi,

First find out the TDOBJECT, TDID, TDNAME and language of the SERVICE TEXT for ITEM by

double click on the text area,

it takes you to a text editor,

in that screen GOTO - >HEADER.

there you will get all the above details.

then in the Smartforms :

Add a text node --> make it as INCLUDE text .

then give the TDOBJECT , TDID , TDNAME and Language on the right side of the screen.

the text will be displayed in the output.

Actually i know how to do but i dont know the TDOBJECT, TDID, TDNAME for service item long text for a purchase order can u give me those details?

goto the transaction whr this text is present then double click on it u'll be taken to SO10 transaction there u use GOTO->header u'll get the TDOBJECT, TDID, TDNAME for service item long text then use it in ur smartform

thanks a lot,

i got that as per what you have given. here i manually went in to the transaction and get the TDOBJECT and TDNAME but i want them automatically in the smartform.

how can i achieve this in which field i can get this, mainly TDNAME?

Hi venkat to get the text in smartform u need to use read_text fm or put a query on STXH .

if u hv tdobject and require tdname put a query on stxh
