Hi Experts,

Can you tell me the function of Object class? On what conditions do we use Investment, Production, Overhead or Profit Analysis?

Thanks & Regards,

Kabir

for investment project use Investment

when you are trigeering PP orders using MRP51 then use Production

for cost or expense projects use Overhead

for revenue projects if using CO-PA module then use Profit Analysis

Hi Virendra,

Thank you so much for the Nice answer. Full Points awarded.

One small clarification, For revenue projects you have mentioned we can use Profit Analysis object class. I didn't understand the phrase 'if not using CO-PA'. Can it be done without CO-PA also? Please advise.

Best Regards,

Kabir

Hi,

When you are going to use Investment project .i.e you will create WBS and linked to IM Program.

you will use Investment.

When you will use MRP run on project use Production

when Costs or expenses Project use Overhead.

For Customer Project using CO-PA use Profit Analysis.

Nitin
