Hi All,
I have a very strange problem here.
I was having around 10 namespaces under one SWCV.
This is how we had set up both in DEV and PRD.
But by mistake, somehow 9 namespaces were removed/deleted in the DEV SWCV.
BUT THIS CHANGE WAS NOT TRANSPORTED TO PRODUCTION.
However, we can see only one namespace, instead of ten in PRODUCTION.
Can anyone pls help me out here?
Note; We have only one common SLD for DEV, QA and PROD in our landscape,
HI
Changes in Dev cannot be reflected to PRD without transports.
Even if you do any individual transport then it can happen. Check with the transport directory with your DEV and cross verify.
Thanks
Gaurav

Hi Senthilathan,
i think this is because of some other single transport in the same component. Each single object transports at the same time the software component as it is a part of it.

This seems to very strange for sure without transporting from DEV this change can't be reflected in PRD....

Hi Senthil,
How r u transporting using CMS or CTS.If you are using CTS then you can transport the deleted object also to production .while exporting from IR just click on export deleted object also..I think this will solve ur problem.

Hi Senthil,
You can check the latest imported file at location \usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\xi\repository_server\import\importedFiles and then cross check whether you are seeing these changes after the last import in production .
This is to check whether any transport has taken place since before you are seeing this problem.
Thanks!
