There are two different PPMs defined.
The systems creates planned order for first PPM as default.
what setting has to be done so that system creates planned order for the both the PPMs
Please help
Hi Ramana,
Do you want to plan of the first PPM first and then plan the rest on the other PPM? or are you looking for some split like 60-40%? Are you talking about SNP or PPDS PPMs?
Here are some options:
1. Lot sizes as Ketan suggested
2. Procurement Priorities in PPM - The highest priority is priority 0.The system plans on the PPM with 0 priority and then goes for the next. This option how ever does not work with Heuristics
3. Quata arrangements: Set 60% for first PPM and 40 for other..
4. if you are using PPDS, yopu can use secondary resources (other way of using calendars)

Hi Ramana,
Apparently you want to use both PPMs because you cannot produce all the material with single PPM because of capacity constraint. Heuristic will not do this. Either you have to use optimizer or capacity levelling after heuristic run.

Hi Ramana,
From your mail it is clear that you have 2 PPMs.
Please chek the Lot size maintain in the 2 PP must be Different. For example your first PPM can have the Lot size for 0 to 1000 Units and then Second PPM can have the lot size from 1001 to 9999. Once you did this setting. Please create the Plan order, System checks the Qty and select PPM accordingly.
Regards,
ketan.
