We have equipt categorised as calibrating eqpt. There are master calibrators (test eqpt) available (say 5 nos.) in our lab which are being used for calibrating in house for many eqpts. One calibrator is used for calibration of one type of Insp char and catering to, lets say, 50 eqpts. Now, in the calibration report, alongwith the details of eqpt under calibration, test eqpt details are also required to be printed for the traceability of the test eqpt.

How to assign one eqpt with the test eqpt to meet the above requirement.

hi

while creating the task list for calibration ,you can specify the test equipment to each of the inspection characteristic and check

While making task list, "test eqpt" menu bar is not displaying test eqpt list which are entered in the master eqpt categorised as test eqpt. Hence, facing problem.

hi ,

for assigning test eqpts to operations in tasklist ... first u need to assign PRT s to that operation and then while assigning inspection characteristics to operations u can find the list in test equipment list .... as PRT list... kindly check nd revert back

hi

assign the PRT to the operation ,then you can see the list of equipments in the test equipment column, before that ensure your MIC allows for test-equipment

Thanks for the reply.

Now the error message is "PRT is not intended for this type of task list".

Kindly suggest what to do.

hi

what is the type of task list you are creating ,kindly go into the equipment in change mode and in PRT tab specify as required one (for PM normally 004 maintenance task list)
