problem with delivery date

Hi,

when i was creating salesorder if iam giving the requested delivery date as today

system si giving the delivery date in schedule lines as tomorrow.

is there any oss notes?? to change this???? or is there a way??

Dear Revanth,

Please check following:

T. Code: VOV8

For your Sales Doc. Type (say, OR), whether field: Proposed Delivery date is checked or not? Mark this field as ticked, so that system proposes Today's date.

Also,

No entry in to field: Lead time in days

T. Code: OVXD

Select your Shipping Point and double click on it. Under Tab: Determine Times, you can see Fields like Determine Load Time & Determine Pick/Pack Time. Maintain No loading time determination within field: Determine Load Time and Pick/Pack time not determined within field: Determine Pick/Pack Time

Dear

Please check in material master- in MRP 2 TAB in scheduling check the in-house production days.

Example: if it is zero then schedule line will be on the same day or if it is maintain one here it will add one more day to the sales order creation day. suppose if u create order today it will take schedule line tomorrow if stock is not available today.

Check in OVLZ for the field "Pick/pack time wrkdys" whether any no.of days is maintained. For example, if 2 is given in this field, even if stock is available on the same day of order creation, system will allow to do PGI only after 2 days from the date of order created

Also Check in VOV8 - Field "Lead Time in Days"

Hi,

Check the stock of the material at inventory level in MMBE.

It would be avaliable by tomorrow so system has calculated the RDD as tomorrow.

You need to understand how the business fills the stock of the material by planning or direct consumption.

Yeah i agree but the stock is available immediately but the delivery date is being displayed a as next day

Hi there,

Check in VOV8 Requested delivery date view --> Propose delivery date field. That field should be checked for the system to propose today's date as delivery date.

Also in MM02 --> MRP screens, check what is the replenishment time.

Check what is the pick pack time / loading time mainatained in shipping point & transit time maintained in route.

But I doubt if system proposes today's date as delivery date as loading time / transit time cannot be 0 days. So going by that, system will propose current date + 1 day as delivery date.
