Hi,

Our oraarch directory went full this morning. 3 logs were move to another directory in order to let the archiving run.

When the archiving was done, I put back the 3 logs to the oraarch dicrectory.

Now brarchive does not include the 3 logs on the next brarchive run. What will I do to have these 3 files archived.

thanks,

kbas

Hi Kbas,

Do the following to take the backup of those 3 arcvhive.

Step 1:- copy those three file again in archive direcotory

Step 2:- Rename the file arch<SID>.log to arch<SID>.log.old . you will find this file in your saparch folder.

Step 3:- Run Brarchive it will take backup of those 3 files. When you run this it will automatically create arch<SID>.log file.

Step 4. Rename the file arch<SID>.log to arch<SID>.log.old1. you will find this file in your saparch folder.

Step 5:- Run the brarchive again it will start taking the current sequence again.

Thanks and regards, Atil
