Problem to reinitialize device in Mobile 7.1

Hello,

We are trying to reinitialize the device in the device administration screen. The device is in the "Registered" state. We return it to the "Initial" state and then try to register it to the same physical client that it was registered before. When we perform the synchronization with the client, we get "Login failed. Device id or physical id invalid" error message.

After it, the only thing we can perform is to completely uninstall the client and then to install it from the beginning.

What is the possible problem?

Hi,

What you did is absolutely ok. The problem is that the client has not set the device registered parameter to false after the sync.It is still referring to the device id which was registered but doesnot find because you have set to initial.

I think its better to raise an OSS for it.
