Hi,

I hope you are installing DB instance and using <sid>adm User for the installing the same.

Error 1314 is an authorisation error ( refer 731977).

the installation needs to be done by a user with administrative rights (either local or domain)...

which steps were done succesfully? database software installation? central instance installation? what are the contents of lsnrctl.log?

Thx for the reply.

Actually I am Logon as window administrator and installing the Database instance.

Is that I should create the <SID>admin and Logon as <SID>admin to install the Database Instance?

Thanks again.

Hi lester,

Already the account <sid>adm will be created at the time of central system installation.Login as <sid>adm and start the installation.

Where sid is your system id.

Hi All,

Thank you for kinkly helpping to solve the problem.

After review the installation guide, there is a missing step regarding local security policy.

The problem is solved.

But, there is another problem arise, which is related to the RFC connection.

I am seeking the solution and let you know the status asap.

(Install IDES is really time consuming)

Thanks,

Lester
