I remember being told that it was possible to view your web-dynpro component in SE38 since it is ABAP code. And remember seeing a long system-generated name with slashes and arbitrary letters/numbers in the name.
However, I can't find that now and was wondering if it is even possible.
So my question is... Is it possible to view a web-dynpro component in SE38 and if so, where do I find the (system-generated?) name to look for.
Thank you,
Dean Atteberry.
ah-ha - here is where...
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
The ideal way to lookup the program name is to right click on the Web Dynpro component and select Check context menu -> extended Check. The program name will be displayed on the extended check screen.
The program is actually a class generated as and when Web dynpro component is developed and activated.

I found it. It was in the debugging. Looks like this.... /1BCWDY/B_B02U8B35AIPLR5VUWI8H
And if you plug that into SE38, you can see ABAP coding.
Now, how do I give myself points. 8-)
