Not Able to do PGI

Hi Friends

I am not able make the pgi after making confirmation of TO in LT12 , could u plz suggest me what could be the reason , what have to do and how should I do the PGI .....

I am getting following error while doing PGI .

@5C\QError@ E M7 053 900003 Posting only possible in periods 2008/08 and 2008/07 in company code 0101 @35\QLong text exists@ PALLET Pallet 1,000 EA

Hi

First check in MMRV

Go to this t code input your company code

You can check the closing period which will be greyed out

In this suppose if the period is 05./2008 then you can create doc till 05/2008

I think in both of your company codes the period will be 07/2008 as per your error message

To change this you have go to MMPV

In this t code enter your company code and if the closing period in MMRV is 05/2008 then you have to give date as 01.06.2008

This means the month june gets opened

After inputting the date a log will come and this confirms that the period is now open for june

This value is only carried out to MMRV which is in grey

In your case you have go to MMPV and input the date as 01.08.2008 and execute then the period opens for august

Again in MMPV 01.09.2008 and execute then the period opens for sep

Again in MMPV 01.10.2008 and execute then the period opens for oct

Again in MMPV 01.11.2008 and execute then the period opens for nov

Like this you have to do for all your company codes

This is basically a MM job in real time
