conversion UOM issue

dear vall,

We are getting error while saving scrap sales order.as "No conversion found for NO to KG

Message no. 8I171

Diagnosis

The UOM conversion does not exist

Procedure

The UOM conversion does not exist in the material master for the

material and UOM entered"

I am not able to trace this problem .Can any body help me pls...

Dear Umesh,

Go to,

T. Code: MM02

and Key-in your Material-Code (the same as in the order, for which error is coming-up) and hit "Enter".

Now, a Window: Select Views, will pop-up. To maintain conversion b/w UoM, only View: Basic Data1, is reqd. Once selected the view, click - ok.

On to next screen, up there, Tab: Additional Data --> Sub-Tab: Unit of Measure

Here, maintain your conversion rate, say:

X -- KG -- Y -- NO

Hi umesh

Go to MM02 ,check in sales orgn 1 view what is the sales unit of pc you have maintianed and what is the base unit of measure go to basic data tab click in additional data there you check the tab Units of Measure and see what alternatives you have maintained

Dear Umesh

Go to material master MM02, input the scrap material and select Basic Data1 view. Check what UoM is maintained there. Also, from top, click on "Additional Data" and check in Unit of Measure whether you have maintained alternate unit of measure.
