Hi All,
how can we implement the authorizations in Web Dynpros? Web Dynpros make an RFC call to R/3 4.6C user transactions. Our doubt is that for the RFC call we use always the same communication user (such as ALEREMOTE for BI or XIREMOTE for RFC call from XI to R/3) and this is correct for background processing, but for dialog transactions the users have only some authorizations (classical authorization profiles) on R/3 4.6c. So how can we import the authorization profile of a user on R/3 4.6c in the Web Dynpros?
Thank you and regards
Bob
Dear Bob,
Assuming that you have SSO between portal and the ECC, you can create the authorization objects and add them to the function module. This authorization objects will allow the user to access the RFC's according to the roles the user is having. Hope this may help you providing authorization for WebDynpro applications.
Thanka and Regards,
Vivek.

Dear Vivek,
thank you for your reply. We haven't SAP EP. Is it mandatory in your opinion? Now we have SAP R/3 4.6c on which we want to implement PM module. Unfortunately our end users doesn't want the SAP GUI so we think to use the Web Dynpro. For this reason we think to install a Netweaver 7.0 on which we can develop and implement the Web Dynpros for the access to the R/3 4.6c PM functionalities. You wrote "you can create the authorization objects and add them to the function module" but is this creation on Netweaver (at Web Dynpro level) or on SAP R/3 4.6C? We haven't great expertise about Web Dynpro so we ask you (if it isn't a problem for you) to suggest a link in which there is a good documentation for our problem.
Best regards,
Bob
