how to send mail from XI based on response from RFC

Hi,

I want to send mail from XI based on response from RFC how can I achieve it . Please send me steps from IR and ID both step by step in details , as I am new to XI .

Also let me know if its possible through XI CCMS alert ,if yes how?

hi,

it's pretty easy - you just need to map RFC.respose message to any other XML message and use mail adapter as a receiver

this way a mail will be delivered to the receiver from rfc.response

there are dozens of mail and rfc adapter weblogs so just do a search on

SDN search and blogs only and you will find many step by step guides

if you have a real issue with that later on come back to XI forum

and ask with specific details

I have done all the configuration required for sending a mail from xi system to an

external email id through alertcatdef .

Where and how can i set the condition that it will automatically shoot an email only

when there is an error condition in rfc?
