Excise Calculation on variable Tax Base

Hi ,

I having a scenerio wherein my excise calculations should be on a variable base.Eg: The basis price is Rs 114 but excise should get calculated on Rs100.

Is there a way to do this

hi,

i excise is calculated on assessable value. if you sell a product more than assessable value u need to pay the differential ED. So create one more condition type for ASV.

Thanks , but my question still remains unanswered, how to achieve the functionality of varying the default base for excise calculation?

I was wondering to change the setting of field of condition type BASB to "Free"

Any comments on that.
