Dummy work center

Hi

can any body help me in creating a dummy work center only for showing duration and work in internal activities.. my client does not want to plan or post costs thru it. i have done some work on the same.. but it still needed a cost center. do we have to create activity types if only want activities for tracking plan / actual work and scheduling the activity.

You have asked too many thing, But Your primary question is " you don't want to plan or post cost throgh activities "

For solving the above you have to create control key via Txn OPSU in that dont select tick for the

Costing. ( reming other indicator you can select based on for which types of activities you want to use this control key )

If you even press F1 selecting each of the indicator you will get the idea...........
