MDM - Item Types

Hi all,

I´m new to MDM and I´m experiencing some problems with Item Types, this issue is of maximum urgence (iminent production) and would greatly appreciate if anyone answers quickly.

If i define (MDM) that some items are Component Items and other are Main Items, wich field stores this information? Item types, right? shouldn´t this field have predifined values ? I don´t have any values there. SRM isn´t recognizing the type of item.

I am using the standard business content for SRM-MDM Catalog and the content of Item types table is the following, although we are no tsending this info to SRM, so I'm not able to help you further:

Item Type Name Item Type Code

Bill of Material BOM

Component C

Configurable Sales Package SK2

Fixed Sales Package SK1

Normal N
