Hi SAP Guru's,
I have to prepare POC for one of our client and i am not aware about what to cover and in which sequence....please guide me how i can prepare myself for the POC.
Any input will be of great help.
please provide ur input.
Thanks,
Kamal Rana
Here I take POC as Proof of concept and not Percentage of completion.
For demostrating POC (Proof of concept) to the client the following points need to be kept in mind:
- Type of Industry/ client operations
- Requirements of the client
- what is the process flow you want to demostrate
- whether the process is a unique requirment or a general process flow in a project
- Since PS integrates with a lot of modules in SAP like FI/CO, MM, SD, HR, PP etc it is essential to know which part of the process you would like to demostrate so that the necessary config can be taken care of.
- once the above have been identified, it is to be mapped how PS can take care of the requirements and have a process flow finalized to have a clear input/ output data.
- Finally realize the process flow on the system with necessary configurations.
Hope this helps

Hi ,
Can you describe the POC requirement in a little more detail ?
POC means Percentage of Completion !! but what kind of Percentage of Completion is ur client looking for ?
is it related to POC w.r t Activity or POC w.r.t WBS elem
and there are lot of other methods of doing POC which are each applicable in different scenarios!!
