Invalid license key

Hi all,

I'm struggling again. Everthing is installed now. I can login with user SAP* however when I try to install the license key I get the error - Invalid license key.

Hardware key is correct - I compared system with license mail from SAP.

The license I received has more than 100 characters... however in the field (transaction SLICENSE) I can enter only 24 characters....

Is there something I missed during installation?

How exactly did you try to install the license?

I can enter only 24 characters....

You shouldn't have to enter any characters here.

Click button 'Install new license', and upload from file.

Hi,

First you have to press the button "New License".

Second you press the button "Install New License (F6)"

Now you can sellect the upload file.

Hi All,

While applying temporary license I am getting the following error.

C:\Documents and Settings\LX1ADM>saplicense -temp

Specify your SAP System ID:

SAP SYSTEM ID = LX1

saplicense: Temporary license NOT installed

• Old license older than 4 weeks

Kindly help as I am not understanding which is the older license.
