Dear Experts,
Scenario is as follows,
1. Customer returns done through 655 movement type
2. Material get posted to quality inspection
3. QA person transferred the material to unrestricted use
4. Now to cancel the above entire cycle
5. VL09
6. In VL09 error comes that deficit of material in quality inspection
To transfer the material again to quality inspection seems to be pretty tough task as per SAP note 175842.
Question is can we pick the material from unrestricted use while reversing 655 movement type
Best Regards,
Anand Rao
Dear Anand,
As u said in SAP any stock coming through quality reverse is not advisable. for case u try following way
1. In mat. master deactivate all inspection type for the material
2. post the stock back from unrestrictrd to quality using 322 mov type with MB1B, posting and document date should be same as the date of stock poste date from quality to unrestricted.
3. After the above steps take the document no of sales to quality posting. i e. 655 mov type dcoument then cancel the document in MBST. if MBst does not works go to QA32 select the 8 series lot put ud and post the stock s to return column
test and come back

Between steps 4 and 5, try MBST with reference to the document you used for posting goods to unrestricted from quality inspection. You'll be able to choose items to be reversed as well as the serial numbers. Afterwards VL09 should work just fine as long as you post it within a valid period.

Has anybody got some solutions? Additional input is, material is serial number managed.
