Workflow how to pass keyfield value from se38

Hi..

I am doing workflow and create object (thru swo1)

In this object type, (zasset ), i have a key field(Asset ID).

In order to test the method, I create an instance to pass ASSET ID.

Alternatively, i can pass the object and key field value thru workflow (swdd)

Both method works. However, I want to populate object type and key field value from SE38?

Please advice..

Hi Parlin,

From a report program in SE38 you can invoke a Business Object event passing the GUID. This event you can use as the triggering event of the workflow and then do the needful in the workflow.
