Hi there

I have a File to Idoc scenario which is configured fine and all but the sxbm_moni comlaines about a port 8000 in idx1 which gives errors. When I go to SM59 and tests the RFC's I get not problems. Does any one know what this might be and how to fix it?

Thanx,

Jan

Hi Jan,

While creating the port for R/3 System in XI you need to follow the naming convention.

That is it should be SAPXXX where XXX is the SID of the R/3 System.

You can go throgh these docs, it may help you.

Thanx for the help. I solved my problem. In my receiver IDOC comm channel the port there was set to 8000. I was not aware that I needed to make that the same as the RFC I have in SM59. Changed it and it worked.

Hi

Have u maintain Port for IDoc

I think this is related to your HTTP port(Not Port for IDoc).

Check your HTTP port in SMICM->Service->here look your HTTP port no.
