Hi Rahul,

1. If the note is a package, then u can use SDM.

2. If some adjustment required then it should be via visual admin.

3. If some configuration changes it should be via config tool.

So, Please check the note and apply one of the above. If you have still any issues, please let me know the note number.

Thanks

Hello Rahul,

You cannot apply this note as you do in ABAP stack. The correction instruction is clearly mentioned in the note. If you did not understand, let me make it clear.

The solution in the note says Logon to the useradmin (http://<server>:<port>/useradmin), search for the administrators' group specified during the installation (e.g. "Administrators" or "J2EE_ADM_<SID>"), and assign the portal role "super_admin_role" manually to that group (see attached screenshot).

So, login to portal using http://<server>:<port>/useradmin . Login as administrator and as mentioned, search for administrators' group and assign the portal role "super_admin_role" manually to that group.

At the end of the note, there is a zip file attached which is a screenshot of what exactly you have to do. download that screenshot and it will help you further.

For your info, we cannot apply notes for Java stack as you do it through SNOTE for abap stack.

Cheers,

Jazz

Hello,

You cannot use SNOTE to apply java patches.. Enterprise portal does not have ABAP stack and you should use JSPM or SDM to deploy the JAVA patches.

Please refer :

This will help you use JSPM.

Cheers,

Jazz
