How can I install SAP GUI on a Linux machine

Hello All,

We are working on MS Windows systems. We have everything installed on Windows machines only. Now I would like to access SAP 47IDES system(Windows) from Linux machine which is my desktop system. Can we install SAP GUI on the Linux machine and access existing SAP server? Please let me know how I can proceed further..

interesting how many websites collect information about SAP GUI for Java.

Unfortunately some of them are a bit outdated regarding SAP GUI, JVM and Linux versions.

Please also have a look at the offical SAP GUI for Java website at SAP, available at http://service.sap.com/sapgui-java.

In case you do not have a user for SAP service market place, you also can go to ftp://ftp.sap.com/pub/sapgui/java.
