Reason Code for Goods Cancellation in ECS

We are on SRM_SERVER 550, SP11, SAP 4.7 backend and have configured ECS.

The reason code entered while creating Goods Cancellation in SRM does not get updated in backend.

I have maintained a new reason code in TextSchema "CONF" against ID u2018RREJu2019 at item level in SRM and the same is defined in backend under u2018Movement Type u2013 Record Reasons for Goods Movementu2019

Also the note 425117 is applied.

Do we need to implement the BADI u2018BBP_LONGTEXT_BADIu2019 for mapping this field to backend?

Please let me know the details on how the reason code for Goods Cancellation can be mapped to backend.

Note: The reason code for Goods Return done in SRM is updated successfully to backend under MIGO transaction.

hi,

Note 425117 is applicable for SRM _SERVER 500 only not for 550, kindly make a note of it.

probably you resolve this issue through a BADI.

Adding all above, Now sap srm 5.5 has standatrd return codes available. check it up in this table. BBPV_TEXT_VALUES. you can see them in text schema-> define fixed values for text type -RETN- explore. you can feel. I think in srm 5.0 we might used the above BADI. please mail me for 5.0 document on return delivery..setings via BADI.
