name space error in software component version

I imported software component from SLD into Integration Builder. After that I created a data type, and when trying to activate it, I am getting the following error:

Activation of the change list canceled Check result for Data Type ZDINERS | http://xyz.com/xi/diners:

Namespace http://xyz.com/xi/diners is not defined in the software component version IMSD, 2.0 of xyz.com.

Could you please let me know what this error could be?

Hi Raj,

try activating the namespace first + software component

and then the data type

Thanks. I tried to activate all together, data type and software component vesrion, Now it works fine.

I have another problem, I have created data type for my oracle system, and created msg type for it. In message mapping, I mapped my RFC and created msg type. But if I go to the test tab in message mapping my target msgtype(of oracle) doesnt appear there. Do you know why it is like that?.

Hi Raj,

You won't see the target message in the test tab until you test it.

Are you saying that on selecting the test tab the result xml is not shown?

if yes,

Fill in the source values and click on the execute button ...this will execute the map and generate the target xml..

I am sorry for that. As Sam said, it is ok now. After i execute only, we can see the target message, i didnt know that. As today only I started working on XI, silly problems.
