SAP NetWeaverSneakpreview and XI

Does NetWeaver Sneak preview include XI? How to create XI content using the Sneak Preview SP15?

Hi Kan,

NetWeaver Sneak Preview doesnt include XI. XI requires a WAS which has both ABAP and Java stacks. So you cannot install XI on a sneak preview edition.

Hi Kna,

Just to add on to what Shravan just told.

SDN recently released 2 Sneak Preview products:

- SAP NetWeaver 04 SP15 Full Java Edition

- SAP NetWeaver 04s Full ABAP Edition (with Web Dynpro for ABAP)

and for XI as Shravan told we need both the Java and the Abap stack and not just having them individually because of which you cannot use it for XI.

Sneak preview does not contain XI. XI needs ABAP and Java stacks, the sneak preview has java stack only.
