Troubles with dll's

Hello,

on starting BO Universe designer or Desktop Intelligence I get the following message:

The procedure entry point ?error@TraceLog@@3ABVImportance@1@B could not be located in the dynamic link library TraceLog.dll

We copied this dll from another user, the system claimed for another dll and retourn to the above mentioned message after copy the second dll. When BO is installed new, I can work only one day then the message apears once more.

What's the problem in this case?

Carmen, I'm getting the same error after installing XI Client Tools 3.0 FP3 and was wondering if you figured out what the fix is to this problem... let me know! Thanks.

Hi ,

Does it work on the server?

There must be some service pack difference between the client, and server designer.

DId you try to uninstall the designer?

Can you check the versions of designer.exe on both?

If this is the case, then we would have to make the service pack of the server and client the same.
