download patch

Dear Expert,

I want to download some service Patch from my SAP portal into my desktop.But when I select that perticular patch . and then Right click for save on my desktop.But its suddent do .In this Desktop or folder option is not comming .and some time only save to Basket but MY Desktop is not higleted,(mean i can,t select My computer icon in SAP portal)

Another question is that from SAP Portal . How i can know that where is my download manager .Where is going in basket.

Hi Jagadish,

There are 2 ways you can download to your desktop:

1. just right click on the patch and select save target as( it wont work all the times)

2. Using download manager(recommended): In the same page of service patch,select Add to download Basket, then one pop will come there just select the Download Basket there and then open your Download manager,and give the respective details(View->download manager configuration(with your login details to service market place,and in Download store mention where you want to save the patch)
