Hi there
In your Integration Builder you have several software components, for every scenario you use 2 of these software components; one being the inbound and other the outbound system. My question, where should I create the objects? Like the data types, message interfaces and so on. Should I be on the inbound or outbound system?
Thanx,
Jan
Hi,
My question, where should I create the objects? Like the data types, message interfaces and so on.
Create Them in Integration repository
Should I be on the inbound or outbound system?
This will be your XI system, Inbound/Outbound depends w.r.t. which system you are talking about.
Thanks!

Hi
Data Type,Message Type and all Inbound and outbound object can be created under same SWC.
Look any simple scenario from SDN.

for every scenario you use 2 of these software components
For a single scenario usually only1 software component version (SWCV) is used.
one being the inbound and other the outbound system.
In integration repository, only inbound and outbound message interface are created within the same (SWCV).
Should I be on the inbound or outbound system?
You have to create these on XI integration repository.

You can use any only one SWCV also to create the objects. There are no specific rules to use 2 different SWCV for Inbound, outbound. If you want to modulirize the objects you can maintain 2 different SWCV and create the objects for outbound in one SWCV and inbound use another SWCV.
