NETWEAVER 7.0 Installation

Hi friends.Actually we are in the process of installing NETWEAVER 7.0 both AS ABAP and AS JAVA. In our previous installation we came across a problem like our ABAP instance has been installed but JAVA instance was missing eventhough we have checked both.Now we have again started installation from initial stage now the problem is nothing is there in MANAGEMANT CONSOLE(Both ABAP and JAVA instance is missing in it).We have again started the installation.Actually we are going to install xRPM 4.5 as an add-on and also we have checked EP portal and EP CORE.Please help us with ur suggestions and documents related to this issues and we are expecting better solution for this from our BASIS folks.

Hi,

Its not very clear that you are trying to install 2 separate instances or 1 abap+java instance. However, your problem is that you cannot see the instance at all in sap mmc. If thats the problem, make sure SAP<SID>_## service is up and running under services. If that doesnt work, try to restart the server, and if that fails, restart the install from scratch as the previous responder said. Hope this helps.

Good if after wrong installation, you format the all drives

(on NT), and try new installation ....
