Plan equipments for project

Dear all,

I want to plan requirement of different Mahines, Cranes for Projects, How can I do this?

Can we link/assign assets to project?

Can we plan for equipments for the projects?

pls guide.

For machines like cranes and heavy equipment you can use seperate work centers and link them to projects.

You can use the PRT functionality for equipment and attach to the projects

hi ,

you can proceed by creating ur equipment as a work centre and have shift planning in work centre gives eqpt avialability and use the work centre in ur networks and confirmations give the actual usage of work centre --eqpt .... you may need to do the same for every eqpt used in the project .

If you want to link any eqpt to project then u can directly link to WBS and have complete WBS functionalities for the eqpt..
