Script and Smartform Differences, Information about Adobe Forms ?

Why script is client dependent and smartform is client-independent ? And wat are all the detailed differences between these two ? And tell me about Adobe forms ?... I have no access to other sites, dont send me any links ... Hope my problem will be solved ...
