Cache Refresh - HTTP 401 Unauthorized

Former Member

Hi,

All the scenarios are failing in the development server are failing and i am getting the following message in SXMB_MONI

"HTTP 401 Unauthorized".

When i tried to do a complete cache refresh using the transaction SXI_CACHE, I am getting the folowing error message.

"HTTP 401 Unauthorized".

Can some one tell me why this is happening ?

Is this because some essential service users are locked ?

Please help

Check the RFC destination INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI in sm59. Test the connection. Either the password used there is incorrect or the user is locked.

Note: PIDIRUSER as suggested by others is used for CPACache and not sxi_cache.

Hi,

Check the RFC Destination type H

INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI in u r XI server. it should return 200/500 response.

If there is response like 401 there there is login credential error.

try to do the Full cache refresh.

http://<host>:<Java-Port>/CPACache/refresh?mode=full
