how to clean import queue

how to delete import queue, when I import sap_basis 700_016, the import is being in "import proper" all the time, the I delete this process from sm66, and delete all files in /usr/sap/trans/buffer, then I go to se37 to execute a program to reset the import queue and restart my sap system, then the import become "error stop", I want to do this import again, but the import queue is not empty. what can I do? Could you give me some advices? thanks

I do not know whether it is normal that the import of sap_basis 700_016 which contains 1199 notes lasts several hours, I think it may have some problems when I see the import proper phase lasts several hours. Is this right?

Hi Victor,

below command will do.

tp DELFROMBUFFER <TR> <SAPSID> pf=<tpparam>

<TR> transport request

<SAPSID> Your system id

pf give your full path with tp parametr file.

To see contents in the buffer execute command

tp showbuffer <SID> PF=<TPPARAM>

I am importing sap_basis 700_016 , the import has being in import proper phase for 4 hours, I do not know if there is any problem or what I can do is just wait. how many times does the import need?

and when I logon to client 000 , I get the error: SYNTAX_ERROR. Is this a normal phenomenon during import a package?? thanks

sap_basis 700_016 package has 1199 notes, so will this import takes several hours? I have wait for 4 hours, and It is sill in import proper phase.

I make a mistake, I am importing basis700_016, I think it may be some problem when the import lasts for several hours in import proper phase. After I wait for 6 hours, the import completed successfully. So, apply the basis700_016 package spends 6hours .
