short dump "DATE_ILLEGAL_LOCTIME"

Hi,

I am getting short dump "DATE_ILLEGAL_LOCTIME : the localtime on the application server is incorrect".Some off processes failed due to this error.

Hi Manish,

We also faced the same issue but no one changed the server time. In SAP system logs (SM21) there is no information about UNIX server time change. But in ST22 we can find the dumps. After restarting the SAP server it went fine.

If you find the reason for this error please let me know.

OS: HP -UX B 11.31 ia64

SAP: BI 7.0 SP 14 ( Kernel 179)
