Whats te purpose of having complete delivery control both at header and item level?.....can the complete delivery at the item level is modifiable even header level complete delivery is marked?........
Hi there,
Complete delivery is usually defaulted from the customer master VD03 --> salesa area data --> shipping.
But if it is manually entered in the sales order, then if you change at the header level it should work. No need to change again at the item level. Try it tough I have never done it.

At the item level the control is for the number of deliveries per item. If on the order at the header level the complete delivery checkbox is blank then at the item level you can define how many deliveries you want to create for that material.
If as per customer master allows partial deliveries then in the order at the item level number of deliveries per item can also flow from the CMIR records.
But if the customer master has full delivery only then that takes precedence.

Is complete delivery always check when creating a new customer? We have this in our system. Is there anyway to not default the check for the complete delivery indicator on the customer master?

KR,
You need to control it in customer master only.
