communication channel frozen.

Hello All,

In my XI system the communication channel freeze's. when a huge file sent or no data sent for some days. This happens every time. And come's up only when I change the adapter engine from central to non- central, vise versa, and activate the communication channel.

Do i have a permanent solution for this??? Please suggest.

Hi Satya,

Which adapter you are using? If you are usinf File adapter check sap note 849089

and if yours is RFC adapter then check Q25 and Ans. of note 730870

I use all the adapters, like FILE, IDoc, JDBC, RFC, XI..... its the same case with all the adapters.

I hope it has some thing to do with adapter engine, both central and non central, irrespective of adapter type.

Hi

This is normal problem (Some times i also faced this problem).

There is no clear solution for this problem as far as i know.

Only solution is just inactivate and activate communication channels at some point of time that you are not using for days......

Please let us know if you find any other solution.,

Alternatively you can increase threads in Visual Adimin for adapter engine sync and async queues
