Resource not in Live cache and related errors

Hi Everybody,

Need your quick help in resolving this.

context:

- A brand new SCM system without any master and transaction data. It is a config only copy of another SCM system.

-Basis has initialized the live cache of this SCM system

-I have done the CIF from connected ECC system

-CIF is successful- no error messages in log

BUT scm system is inconsistent with respect to

- resources- with message +Location Grj********** of resource WC*********8 does not exist.+ As many resources - as many messages.

-OM17- resource inconsistencies could not be corrected- same messages again. as many message as many resources.

-Resource master- save to live cache-not happening.. again same messages

-DP time series (compoenets in DP PPM not identified to DP PPM in live cache) inconsistent

- As of now i have deleted DP PPM's for i can easily create them with CIF again

-I have initialized the planning area and created CVC's and updated time series objects.

-Tries all possible combinaitons in resource master- still the same messages

The system is inconsistent.

Please advice the correct way of solving this.

Hi Lok Nath,

Have you extended your resources to Live cache. if not use /SAPAPO/CRES_CAPACITY_LENGTHEN program to extend. and than try again.

Thanks kumar. tried this one too. but does not help. The next screen is blank.

Also could you let me know- the reason for "ERROR: LOCATION NOT FOUND" while i do initial tranfer of Materils, resources and other transaction data.

While the Location model is transferred without any problem.

Loknath,

Try transaction /SAPAPO/REST02. It checks whether resource is in Live cache or not and correct it as well.

Hi Lok,

Have you checked the locations are available in APO? just make sure that the transfer is complete and not stuck in Queue.

Can i know the steps you are carrying out.
