Dear Experts,
Request you to share your experiences in Setting up SAP GUI server.
which will help in distribution of SAP GUI updates to Clients/work stations.
please give a few details on this.

Currently, I am using SAPGUI server. It's very helpful for us as Basis to manage SAPGUI centrally and update patch automatically. But you should consider that to apply patch on SAPGUI (on Windows client) still need user with administrator priviledge. User with restricted access (which don't have install right) cannot be used to update patch from SAPGUI server.

You are mistaken, if you configure LSH you can do it without
administrator priviledge
