Hi Guys,
I am new to DMS, my client wants a particular Word Documents are to attached finished products and those documents to be printed when ever prod order is created against that header material.
What is process of attaching documents like word documents, excel documents, cad drawings....etc
Can any help in explain me in short about dms

Please create a Document Info Record through "CV01" transaction and attach your word / excel etc to the DIR (Document Info Record)
Next Select the Object Links tab in Document Info Record and here you can enter you Products , BOM etc, Production Order.
To facilitate this you must configure the Document Type for these object links.
Now You can access the documents from the Production Order . Please refer http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/a5/63198843a211d189410000e829fbbd/frameset.htm
which gives info about Document Integration in Production Order.
