Configuration of NWDS for DTR use

Former Member

Hi,

i have installed JDI and now I would like to use it from NWDS. I have configured dtr client (DTR Server url = http://serverHost:50000/dtr) and in windows->preferences->Java Developement Infrastructure->Developement Configuration Poll

I have set url to sld (http://serverHost:50000)

Now (I hope) I can login to JDI.

(Server response: "<i>Server response time for login to server http://serverHost:50000/dtr/ : 266 ms</i>")

But SLD response is:

"<i>Landscape Directory serverHost:50000 HTTP response code: 403 Forbidden</i>"

And most of all I see only Local Developement node when I create new DI.

What should I set as SLD url and what more I have to configure to work with DTR?

I will be grateful for any suggestions.

Regards

Bogdan

Hi,

The URL to sld http://serverHost:50000 is correct.

Now do not create the client instead.

1. Goto 'Development Configuration' Perspective.

2. Right Click on 'Local Development' and take the 'import Configuration'.

3. select 'remote' radio button option.

4. The Track that was created in the NWDI server will be displayed.

5. Select the Track.

6. The Client will be automatically created and the Active/InActive DC's will be displayed.

Hope that Helps.
