System lock on un-utilised budget of F08 in F09 for a WBS

Dear All,

In our senario, we are releasing budgets on mutliple years for e.g. 2007, 2008 & 2009 on single WBS element.

Suppose on 2008 we had released 12 lacs, but actual expenditure is of 4 lacs. It means 8 lacs ammount was unutilised in 2008.

On same WBS for 2009 , We have relased only Rs 1 Lacs , But in current situation we can make more than one lacs in 2009. It seems system is also considering un-utilised budget of F08 in F09.

Request you to suggest How can we set block on unutilsed buget of last year for a wbs?

You want to use the previous yr. budget in this year or you want to block the previous released budget?

If you want to use the previous year budget you can transfer this to this year.

So that you can use those 08L + this yr's released budget in 2009.

If you want to block you can do the same with the help of USER STATUS, that will block suppliments/returns or transfer of budget.
